Dr. Bill Slevin has a wealth of knowledge from 35 years’ experience and education as an investigator and researcher in the paranormal field. Bill is a Parapsychologist and holds a PhD in Parapsychology and Metaphysical Humanistic Science. Bill has studied many other fields as well, including Psychology, Psychiatric Illness, Metaphysics, Quantum Physics and many more. Bill understands that it is important to know as much information about areas outside the paranormal in order to fully understand the paranormal.
Dr. Slevin is also Demonologist, having studied Demonology for about 30 years. Bill is called into specific cases all over the world to help assess if they could possibly be demonic. Bill has been part of some very dark and demonic cases over his decades in the field and understands that the demonic is very real as he has witnessed some very terrifying things on these cases.
Dr. Slevin has also been part of the Technology field for over 3 decades with expert knowledge in technology, equipment, photography, and CCTV cameras. Bill is currently an IT director for a Psychiatric, Drug, and Alcohol treatment facility. All of this technology education and experience helps him in analyzing evidence and understanding what could be natural causes created by flaws or environmental changes to the equipment and also understanding what may be paranormal.
Dr. Slevin spends a lot of time working to help educate the public about the paranormal. Bill can be seen lecturing at many conventions, schools, Libraries, and other events all over the country. Depending on the event, Bill may have a small setup to a very large setup with all his equipment displayed. Bill loves to be interactive with the fans and will answer all questions that everyone has. His lectures may consist of just him or 1 or more of the members of the P.E.R.S. Team depending on the size of the event.
With the birth of Paranormal TV, it has brought the paranormal field into the mainstream eye, but the TV and the internet can be very deceiving at times and confuse a lot of people about what is real and what is not. When Bill lectures, he always strives to entertain but also educate at the same time, which is his main goal. He gives everyone correct and true knowledge of the paranormal, he does not play up to cameras or give false information, he is very dedicated to teaching people the correct way to investigate and how to understand actual evidence.
Some of the greatest comments Bill says he has had from people attending his lectures and panels are the ones that say they had no idea about what was real and they were so interested in learning how to tell the difference.
