Ed and Lorraine Warren were well-known paranormal investigators and pioneers in the paranormal research field. Most people in the paranormal field will referrer to them as the true pioneers of the paranormal. Ed & Lorraine dedicated their lives to investigating paranormal activity and helping people, founding the New England Society for Psychic Research (NESPR) in 1952, the oldest Paranormal Research group in New England.
Some of their fame was known for their involvement in high-profile hauntings and supernatural cases Like The Amityville Horror, The Perron Family Haunting in 1971 (The basis for the Conjuring Movie in 2013), The Annabelle Doll, The Enfield Poltergeist in 1977 (The basis for the Conjuring 2 Movie in 2016) and many more. They also authored many well-known books about their lives and cases.
For a lot of people in the paranormal field, Ed & Lorraine were a major influence in their journey and decision to enter the field. Even though I never had the chance to directly work with them, I have been very blessed and honored to be part of carrying on their legacy of helping people by working with the people directly related to them and amazing people who were students of The Warrens for decades.

The Warren Society for Paranormal Research and Education
The Warren Society for Paranormal Research and Education was founded by Joe Franke and was created to carry forward the legacy of Ed and Lorraine Warren. I previously served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Chief Technology Officer (CTO), within the Society, helping to support and guide its mission of preserving and continuing the Warrens’ work and legend. The Warren Society is comprised of some top researchers, investigators, and educators in the paranormal field, working together to assist individuals and families around the world who may be experiencing unexplained or paranormal activity. The Society prides itself on providing accurate, ethical, and professional help by combining the education, experience, and abilities of its members to seek real solutions—whether the cause is paranormal or not. The ultimate goal has always been to find genuine help for families in need.
Another central mission of The Warren Society is public education. This includes teaching future researchers and the general public about the realities of the paranormal, separating fact from television fiction, demonstrating proper investigative methods, applying science in investigations, and focusing on how to truly help people—regardless of whether the situation is paranormal or something else entirely.
During my time with the Society, Joe Franke and I frequently traveled together, lecturing to audiences across the country at conventions, Paracons, libraries, schools, and other public venues, sharing our experiences and educating others about the paranormal and the legacy of Ed and Lorraine Warren.
The Warren Legacy Foundation for Paranormal Research
The Warren Legacy Foundation for Paranormal Research was established in 2014 by Lorraine Warren in collaboration with her grandson, Chris McKinnell. I was honored to have been chosen by Chris to be one of the managers that helped run the foundation along with being the director of the entire US East Coast. I was part of the foundation for just over 3 years. I decided to leave the foundation in January of 2025 and since then I have now become part of the Warren Society in order to continue to carry on the Warren legacy.
